Helene Walterskirchen inherited the talent and love for writing from the aristocratic paternal side of her family. Already as a teenager she had written her first articles and short stories which, however, remained unpublished. Following the wish of her parents for a secure future, she started a career in business and became a secretary and later a chief secretary and then office manager in the field of law.

Writing stayed a hobby. Not until the age of 40 did Helene Walterskirchen decide to pursue a career as an author and become a professional author of non-fiction. Alongside her own book projects she also worked on books for clients, created book concepts and texts, revised manuscripts editorially, coached young authors and served as a literary agent.

Helene Walterskirchen wrote known non-fiction books like “Do not argue – win” (Original German title: “Streite dich nicht – Gewinne”; Ullstein publishing house, 1999), “Aristocrats – life between tradition and modernity” (Original German title: “Aristokraten – Leben zwischen Tradition und Moderne”; Ueberreuter publishing house, 2000), “At the side of power – Germany’s First Ladies” (Original title in German: “An der Seite der Macht”; Ueberreuter publishing house, 2002), „The energy principle” (Original title in German: “Das Energie-Prinzip”; Ehrenwirt publishing house, 2002), “Peace knights – to live and win with the power of peace” (Original title in German: “Friedensritter – Mit der Kraft des Friedens leben und gewinnen”; Adma Publications self-publishing house, 2013) and “Inside the mega-game of this universe – “Homo Ludens’ ” game of life in a universe of gaming worlds and orchestrations” (Original title in German: „Im Mega-Spiel des Universums – Das Lebensspiel des „Homo Ludens“ in einem Universum der Spielwelten und Inszenierungen“; Adma Publications self-publishing house, 2016).

In 2014 Helene Walterskirchen founded the cultural series “Culture magazine Schloss Rudolfshausen” for which she not only writes most editorial contributions but for which she also acts as a publisher together with her daughter. The culture magazine is an independent and neutral medium of cultural information. As a contemporary document it portrays human culture’s roots, development and foundations. In October 2017 the 7th edition of the exclusive, high-quality and ecologically produced culture magazine was published. Starting from 2018 it will be published 3 times instead of only twice per year.
